The Clinnova European Consortium was featured at a recent TEHDAS workshop on Collaboration on Data Discovery and Multi-Country Applications under the European Health Data Space (EHDS), held in Paris, November 2025.
The workshop brought together approximately 150 participants, both onsite and online, including representatives from Health Data Access Bodies (HDABs), data users, and data holders from across Europe. Discussions focused on improving collaboration during the data discovery phase and within the context of multi-country applications, a topic of growing importance with the upcoming EHDS regulation.
During the workshop, Dr. Jasmin Schulz from Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) presented the role of Clinnova, highlighting how European research consortia can contribute practical experience and concrete use cases to support more effective and harmonised health data access across countries.
Expert presentations grounded in real-world experiences laid the foundation for interactive discussions. Participants examined current practices and challenges, identified gaps, and explored potential solutions and pathways for alignment. The workshop was widely recognized as an important step in preparing stakeholders for the transition to EHDS, with many participants emphasizing the need for additional use cases to understand the implications of multi-country applications better and to support future process streamlining.
