Clinnova at the HealthTech Global Summit 2026 in Basel
From March 3–5, 2025, Clinnova took part in the HealthTech Global Summit in Basel, one of Europe’s leading gatherings dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare through technology and innovation.
With an academic booth, the Clinnova team represented the consortium and shared the project’s vision of federating medicine across Europe. Throughout the three days, the booth became a lively meeting point for researchers, clinicians, innovators, and industry leaders eager to learn how Clinnova is enabling secure, collaborative, and data-driven medical research.
Both Clinnova use cases, Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), were presented at the booth, illustrating how federated infrastructures can support large-scale, collaborative clinical research. The discussions around federated learning and privacy-preserving data analysis sparked strong interest among visitors, highlighting the growing importance of secure cross-institutional data collaboration in healthcare innovation.
The level of interest was remarkable. Many attendees stopped by to discuss the opportunities that federated data infrastructures can unlock for research, innovation, and ultimately for patients.
The HealthTech Global Summit proved to be the perfect stage to highlight the ambition behind Clinnova: bringing together expertise, data, and technology across borders to enable a new era of collaborative and responsible medical innovation.
