30 June 2026 2minutes

As Clinnova continues to grow, its impact is increasingly being recognized beyond the consortium itself. This was reflected in the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) Annual Report 2025, where several members of the institute’s leadership highlighted the programme and its contribution to the future of digital medicine.

Ana Sanchez-Guevara, President of the LIH Board of Directors, described Clinnova as: “The Clinnova digital health flagship programme, a powerful driver of transformation, laying the foundations for a more connected and forward-looking healthcare ecosystem .”

Reflecting on the progress achieved in 2025, LIH CEO Prof. Ulf Nehrbass highlighted the milestones reached by the initiative and the decision to extend its funding for another five years: “Our flagship Clinnova study, focused on immune-related diseases, reached critical milestones in infrastructure, data management and patient enrolment.”

The impact of these achievements was further summarized by Dr. Jasmin Schulz, Strategic Programme Lead at LIH, following the successful completion of the first implementation phase in Luxembourg:

Together, these perspectives highlight the shared ambition behind Clinnova: connecting expertise, infrastructures and patients to enable better research and ultimately better care.

From Luxembourg to Switzerland, France and Germany, Clinnova continues to demonstrate that collaboration, interoperability and trust are essential ingredients for the future of data-driven healthcare.

Further details on the scientific, clinical and digital milestones achieved across the consortium will be featured in the upcoming Clinnova Annual Report 2025.
